Wuxi Xiaolong-Mantou ( Small Dumpling of Wuxi )

Wuxi Xiaolong-Mantou,also called Wuxi Small Dumpling, is a traditional famous snack in Wuxi. It has over 100-year history. It is widely welcome in Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou. It selects the high-level flour, and delicate materials and resources. It is steamed and boiled in small-size ware called Xiaolong(小笼), and it is strongly featured of the southern-style taste. It won’t be broken when picked up with chopsticks, and stuffing won’t be leaked when it is turned over. It is fresh and tasty. During the time of autumn and winter, the boiled crab extract is added into the steamed bread, and this is the noted Crab Powder Steamed Bread(in Chinese Pinyin: Xiefeng Xiaolong, simplified Chinese: 蟹粉小笼 ). This is not only for extempore eating but also much too proper for presenting friends as gift.
